OUR TEAM
Chisholm Design began in 2012 when Jo designed her own kitchen. A friend asked her to design theirs, and from that single project at her kitchen table, a business was born. For the first few years, Jo worked alone, designing every project herself and steadily building a reputation for thoughtful creativity and attention to detail.
Rob joined the business in 2018, and together they began the gradual process of building a team that could maintain the personal, quality-focused approach that had become Chisholm Design's hallmark. They moved from a garden office into their first showroom in 2022, and in 2024, into their current purpose-built barn-conversion style showroom and design studio near Tilford, Surrey.
Today, our team is at the heart of everything we do. Our award-winning design team—both shortlisted for the national Rising Star of the Year Award by KBB Review—brings creativity, technical expertise and a genuine passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Behind them, our diligent and experienced operations team ensures every project runs smoothly from order to installation, whilst our office and marketing team procures products, markets the business and keeps the office running (and supplied with coffee and biscuits!).
We've designed hundreds of kitchens, utility rooms, boot rooms and other spaces over the years, but we've deliberately kept our growth measured and careful, ensuring we can provide the highly personalised service our clients expect and deserve. We strive to go above and beyond, making the whole kitchen design and fitting experience as stress-free as possible from beginning to end.
We're incredibly proud of our team and genuinely grateful for the hard work, expertise and care they bring to every single project.
“Both Rob and I take every bit of our business personally - we are completely invested in it; in our people, our projects, our suppliers, our tradespeople and - most of all - our clients. We set the bar for client satisfaction very high at Chisholm Design. Anything less than ‘delighted’ means we’ve fallen short. And that really isn’t a soundbite or marketing slogan - if things go wrong (as they sometimes do) we all lose sleep over it. And when it goes right (which it always does in the end), the sense of satisfaction, knowing we have a delighted client, with a gorgeous kitchen, is the reason we do what we do.”

Founder and Design Director
Rob
Jo’s husband, Rob, spent 16 years in the Army and then joined the John Lewis Partnership, first on the retail side in Waitrose and then in a Group role across the whole Partnership. After a brief foray into business management at JP Morgan, he took the plunge and began working alongside Jo on projects for Chisholm Design in early 2018.
His focus is on building the team and growing the business, whilst keeping oversight across operations and ensuring that we never lose that personal touch that’s been the hallmark of what we do ever since Jo started.
Managing Director
Victoria
Victoria joined Chisholm Design as a kitchen designer in 2021. She graduated with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Farnham’s University for the Creative Arts in 2020.
She has gone from strength to strength since joining us and is a talented and passionate designer with a natural eye for elegant design and subtle details. She was deservedly shortlisted for the national KBB Rising Star Award in 2024, in recognition of her outstanding portfolio.
Senior Designer
Jessica
Jessica joined the business in January 2022. Like Victoria, she also has a degree in Interior Architecture and Design from Farnham’s University for the Creative Arts. And like her, she brings both passion and a flair for design.
Jessica is not only a talented designer, but she has a real passion for making sure that her designs will work in reality, spotting potential issues, discussing them with site teams and our fitters and finding ways to address these. This was recognised by her being shortlisted for the national KBB Rising Star Award 2026!
Senior Designer
Antoinette
Antoinette joined Chisholm Design in 2022 as our Operations Manager, responsible for ensuring that all the necessary preparatory building works have been done and for managing the kitchen fitting process itself.
After a career in advertising and retail, she changed tack after completing her own house extension project and moved into the construction world. She gained a huge amount of practical building experience, before realising that kitchens were her true passion!
Operations Manager
Jim
Jim joined us in 2025 and we were lucky to find him. Having started out managing marinas in the Caribbean, he returned to the UK and worked as a qualified electrician for a number of years, before working as a general builder and then fitting our kitchens.
He now brings many years of practical, on-site experience to the team, supporting the team across all our projects. A family man, he’s never happier than when embarking on a new project at home in his spare time!
Assistant Operations Manager
Catriona
Cat joined the team in April 2023 and is our Office and Procurement Manager; playing a vital role in supporting the design and operating teams in procurement and keeping the office running smoothly. With a ten year stint in the property industry, Cat understands how homes make people feel and how kitchens can make or break a project's success.
Whilst away from the office Cat can be found in her own kitchen keeping a young family fed, or walking our other office dog, Sid!
Office and Procurement Manager
Harriet
Harri is our Social Media and Marketing Manager. With a huge amount of experience, based on 10 years in a digital marketing career, Harri brings passion, experience and creativity to everything she does, helping us to share what what we do.
When not making digital magic, she’s the mother to her 3 children, enjoys keeping fit and is also a fellow dog lover!
Socials and Marketing Manager
JO CHISHOLM
Jo is a former Army Officer and qualified engineer with a passion for design and colour. A mother of two, keen triathlete and brilliant cook, she started Chisholm Design from the kitchen table nearly a decade ago. She throws herself into every project (about 150 of them so far, and counting) no matter the shape or size. With a love of clean lines and simplicity, Jo’s keen eye for detail shines through in every kitchen she helps bring to life.
ROB CHISHOLM
Jo’s husband, Rob, spent 16 years in the Army and then joined the John Lewis Partnership, first on the retail side in Waitrose and then in a Group role across the whole Partnership. After a brief foray into business management at JP Morgan, he took the plunge and began working alongside Jo on projects for Chisholm Design in early 2018. He’s been well-tutored by Jo (!) and, in addition to managing his own projects, leads the development of the business as it goes from strength to strength.
Inka
Inka, Jo and Rob’s English Pointer, is the final member of the team. She can often be found at the showroom, where she will always give a welcoming bark to visitors, the postman and delivery drivers, but is actually the most loving and friendly dog imaginable.
The only thing that Inka loves more than a good, long run around nearby Frensham Pond or a juicy bone to chew on is Jo!
We do appreciate that not everyone likes dogs, so please let us know if you’d rather she wasn’t around if you come to visit us.
