PROJECT: A Truly Unique Family Kitchen | LOCATION: Farnham | YEAR: 2021

This project brought together so many interesting and special elements that it’s hard to know where to begin. From the walk-in pantry with a secret door to the adjacent dry bar and from the Bora X Pure hob with an integrated extractor to the open island end table, this kitchen is simply packed with fabulous design features. It’s also a great example of how a necessary structural detail - the pillar - can be integrated into a design and actually become a feature. We also love the lighting here, especially our clients’ choice of wall sconces above the open shelf and the spotlights on the underside of the beam - these provide a bit of stylish detailing, whilst keeping the view to the dining table and the garden beyond unobstructed.

All cabinetry was hand-painted on-site by our brilliant painter, Paul Kamysz. The handles are from Crofts and Assinder’s Special Works Henley range. The appliances include separate integrated Bosch fridge and freezer, Bosch ovens, a Neff dishwasher, Quooker boiling tap and a Caple wine cooler.
