PROJECT: Country Kitchen | LOCATION: Tilford | YEAR: 2018

Our brief was to create a large family kitchen, plus utility and boot room, as part of the renovation of this cottage in the beautiful village of Tilford, near Farnham. The family were keen to create a room that would become the heart of their home, and it needed to fit with the country-feel of the rest of the house. 

This beautiful kitchen features plenty of light, with views across the garden and an elegant and contemporary design. The stunning curved island has seating for four and includes an induction hob and ceiling extractor. There are also two single ovens, an integrated larder, fridge and freezer, and a boiling tap for instant hot water. The cabinets are hand painted in Paper and Paint Library 'Panel', in keeping with the country feel we were aiming for. The quartz worktop is Classic Quartz Olympia.

Our favourite part of this kitchen has to be the curve on the island - a great way of adding additional width and maximising space, plus the double door larder also providing brilliant storage. The result was a very clean-looking, timeless kitchen that really delivered on the brief.
